LAUGHLIN — A deal with California based American Sports syndicator TVS Television Net-
work will result in Bowling Evolved’s Two by Four tournament being recording for future broad-
casting on streaming services and TV tournament director and Bowling Evolved founder Dustin
Markowitz announced.
―It is my hope that we at Bowling Evolved can aid the revival of bowling on all digital mediums
and support competitive bowling once again,‖ Markowitz said.
The tournament, which is being sponsored by Mongoose Bowling Products, will be held Sun-
day, Nov. 20 at Riverside Lanes in Laughlin, Nev. Commentary will be provided by the
award nominated Bowling Evolved broadcast teamof Markowitz and five-time Professional Bowl-
ers Assn. Tour champion Eric Forkel.
The format has doubles teams bowling four games of qualifying across eight lanes with the top
four teams advancing to a stepladder finals that will be taped by TVS. The stepladder will be
Baker-style single-game eliminationmatches. Handicap is 100 percent of 210.
The entry fee is $80 per team with a guaranteed $2,000 top prize. There also will be brackets
and side pots as well as an optional five-game sweeper on Saturday, Nov. 19. Entries will be
limited to the first 100 teams. ―This tournament will give bowlers of all calibers a chance to com-
pete on an equalized playing field,‖ Markowitz said. ―It is radically different than a standard pro
competition as it appeals to all. The unique format combined with the possibility of all levels of
bowlers being able tomake the showspells a fun time.‖
In addition, 25 cents for every game bowled will be donated to the We Care Cancer Support
Inc., (wecarecancersupport.org) in memory of the late Barry Gurney, a PBA Senior Tour cham-
pion. Gurney, who passed away from pancreatic cancer in 2013, was a frequent guest on Bowl-

The TVS Television Network is the fourth-oldest commercial broadcast TVnetwork in the USA.
Founded in 1960, TVS has produced and distributed sports TV programming and for 20 years
was the leading independent TV network in the USA. During that time TVS produced
and distributed thousands of college basketball, college football bowl games, bowling, boxing,
rodeo, auto racing, and other sports events.
TVS also pioneered several league television ventures including WFL Football, IWAWrestling,
LPBTBowling, NASCAR, NASLSoccer and ABABasketball.
Today, TVS is a multi-platform producer distributor that serves broadcast stations, cable TV net-
works, IPTV subscription and ad-based services, OTC subscription and ad-based services and
mobile subscription and ad-based services. TVS produces 250 new sports events yearly and
markets its classic sports library to these platforms.
In addition to approaching TV providers with the show, the Bowling Evolved Two by Four tour-
nament show will air on TVSTavernTelevisionNetwork.Com, an IPTV / OTC / Mobile network
launching later this month that will feature the original TVS programming in bowling, boxing, arm
wrestling, billiards, and other ―blue collar‖ sports. Bowlers can also watch on ROKU, VEOH, and
Mobile Services as well as the TVS IPTVwebsite.
TVS Nostalgia Network also will stream on TikiLive, where the Bowling Program will repeat four
times weekly over a year. Lastly, TVtibi.Com will carry the event on a TVS subscription channel
for bowlers and bowling fans.
TVS audience estimates are for 150,000 to 250,000 viewers based on digital metrics. Markowitz
hopes to be much larger than that. ―The beauty of this age is how many people we can
reach with social media and a click of the mouse. With the right support from TVS and our fans, I
feel we can blow the lid off the pot and do something truly special for bowling.‖
