This is the first time I've been disappointed with a mystery ball after 3 years of getting them. Had this been around the Big Bite's release then sure, it wouldn't have been what I wanted but would've at least made sense. But stating that you're getting a ball "at a fraction of the price" then giving away clearance equipment seems kind of lame.
I recieved a radical rattle bigbite that was made in 2022 and is the total opposite of personal. I told them that I was and old stroker that throws the ball at 12mphs and low revs and hard hooking balls and i have
multiple and there pretty much bag riders.I says in the info I recieved says that is sharp and angular ,hell it even has S.H.A.R.P in the type of ball it is in the description .I understand it's a mystery but you represent a quality ball with professional people picking these balls for an extra $10. Right now I can go to my proshop and get the same ball drilled for $99,or on other websites.So I do not recommend this mystery box to any one looking for a deal and steal of a ball.i feel like they're dumping balls that are outdated and not worth the wait!! I also ordered 2 packs of tape that were not in the box,you'd think after a wait of 12 days or so waiting on the ball to show up, I would have gotten the tape anyway by now.
One would think that they would want to keep my business since I was a first time buyer ??

I wanted a medium oil solid, preferably symmetrical. I paid the extra $10 so I could explain this. BW sent me a DV8 Trouble Maker Solid! It wasn't on the list that I sent, but you are not guaranteed any specific ball. After looking it up, it should have been on the list, indeed. I feel like they listened and took great care of me and my purchase. Very satisfied customer once again. Thanks BW!

I received this as a gift and ended up with a Radical Rattler Big Bite. "It's a mystery ball, so I understand it's the luck of the draw. That said, receiving an older, already discounted ball can feel underwhelming from a customer’s point of view — especially when it's already marked down elsewhere.
I don’t plan to drill it and will probably give it away to someone at my local bowling alley.
My suggestion to BowlingWorld: offer a separate “Closeout Mystery Ball” option at a lower price for discontinued or heavily discounted models. That way, customers looking for a surprise still have the chance to receive newer or premium options, and expectations are better aligned.
