This was my second box and I got an Ebonite Real Time this time, I have had that ball in my radar and when I ordered it had been recently discontinued so I was hoping for it or one of the others. Once again I’m happy and look forward to getting it drilled up.
not the best value but their are no bad balls. Haven’t drilled yet but review are promising
Have to up my review to 4 stars even though the first surprise ball was terrible exact opposite of what i asked for. I gave it a second chance. This time I gotea radical evil eye which fit exactly what I asked for. So its a gamble but sometimes it works. Just know you may not get what you want even if you pay the extra
Thank you for giving us a second chance Brad! When it comes to the personalized selection upcharge, we always try our best to fit you with the notes provided. It does us no good to send you something you don't want. This most often happens when our surprise ball inventory is limited and we don’t have a matching option available.
I have been using this tape for a few months now and it does what it’s supposed to do. It stays in place and lasts for a while. If you need to adjust your fit in the middle of a game this is what you should reach for
Perfect for your keys, ball bag, backpack or anything else that needs a little bowling style
This ball rocks! It performs better than it looks and costs. My only complaint is that white balls show dirt way more than darker colors
A common colorful way to keep your ball free from oil
A legend in polyester spare balls. The colorway looks great.
Get your thumb fit once and take it where ever you go
Amazing selection of colors. You absolutely need one for a Jopo interchangeable thumb
Great color selection and a must have for the Jopo interchangeable thumb
Received an Infinity Quest and a C300 Pulse. These are both balls that were released in the last three months, so a great deal. These had Turbo Switch Grip IT fingers and an Ultimate IT thumb - Of my eight previous BW Experienced Surprise balls, all but one was setup this way. The only reason I am giving 4 rather than 5 stars is that unlike previous BW Experienced balls, these showed up quite dirty. I was able to clean them up, so they look brand new, but this should have been done by BW, not me.
Some people will give this ball not so good a review since it’s on sale on other sites but I finally got this drilled and it an excellent bench mark in my bag. I’m pleased and it worked great on THS
Honestly, I have this ball one handed and two handed. It's early, but creates such good continuous motion through the pins. This was delivered like 3 days after I ordered. Insane.
HK22 Cover, Tiered Hexagon Core Hybrid with Clean Motion in the front with Controllable Shape and Continuous Back end Motion. Drilled mine 70 x 5 x 35, this ball gets through the front part of the lane cleanly and has great length before seeing the backend and then has great angular motion to the pocket, without excessive hook. I also find I can open many angles and playing in or out on the lanes with great backend recovery. Find this ball great with benchmark characteristics on Medium Patterns, have also used it on a couple of 42 Ft. Challenge patterns with CLEAN backends. I find I can circle the lane with lower speeds and still see a Great read in the backend, off the pattern. One of the Best Hybrid Covers on the Market today. Get one for you bag!
As always, Bowling World is beyond generous with their mystery box balls.
I, like always, was really hoping for an Evoke Hysteria for me or a RST Hyperdrive Pearl for my wife. I wasn't expecting a Maximum Effect right after release to show up.
I won't be getting this one drilled yet because I already have something in that part of my bag, my Jackal EXJ, but this thing is gorgeous. The pictures don't do it justice.
With the way it's been looking in online reviews, this will definitely be one that I will hold on to and drill in the future.

Finally got mine back from my PSO after receiving it from Bowling World on release day.
The first couple of games weren't spectacular, which happened to me with the Effect Tour, too. But I took it to league the next night and WOW! It was an entirely different ball, just like how the Effect Tour suddenly changed after breaking in the coverstock.
It instantly made itself a permanent addition to my league bag for the season along with the aforementioned Effect Tour and Jackal Onyx. All three balls are highly recommended!
I'm a 158 average in league, but all three of these are rolling 200-225 for this thumb-in, lefty, at 14-16 mph, with ~200-250 revs.
This was a fantastic offer!! I got a Ebonite The One Ovation. One of the newest balls on the market! I shot a 600 series right out of the box!
Updated HK 22 Coverstock, Modernized Classic with Controlling, Predictable Hook that cover most Lane Conditions.
Drilled 40 x 5 x 40 this Ball Clears the heads, with Angular motion at Breakpoint. Retains the original core shape through the midlane with enough energy to provide great backend hook. A Benchmark Classic that is usually First out of my bag on typical House shot conditions. I find this ball also useful on dryer patterns, by moving right and playing up the lane when they start to get a bit "hooky" in the track area (around board 10). If your looking to cut down the Hook Angle, this ball would be good for you. A "GO TO BALL" for Sure!
This Ball hit like and hammer, Very Smooth. Unbelievable, hope to get another in 14 Lbs
The 14lb pair I ended up with were a Criterion Hybrid and a Game Breaker 5 both released in Feb 2025. Definitely demo balls with typical wear and tear but nothing needing repair. If they weren't demos from the past year I probably would have been disappointed like another reviewer. Maybe I'm adding to false hope and heartache if this isn't the norm?...Sorry!?
At this price it definitely satisfied my itch to try something new. Be sure to factor in your pro shops pricing on plugging and drilling.
Took a chance on the mystery ball and got the new radical guru oracle probably something I wouldn’t have drilled and so far I’m happy with it strong and smooth and continuous. I ordered a second one and got the Columbia piranha c jade another one I would t have drilled. Just punched it up so we will see how it is.
