Ebonite Turbo X Bowling Ball

Turbo X is Back and Better than Ever!

After a 30-year hiatus, the Turbo X is back and better than ever! The original version of the Turbo X was very clean through the fronts and smooth off the spot, giving bowlers more predictability and consistency down lane. The out of box surface of 1500, finished with Factory Compound making this ball better for medium and lighter oil conditions. I personally have adjusted my surfaces to 1000, then 2000 to get a little more bite, while maintaining a smooth and predictable roll down lane. The layout in this ball is 60x4.5x30, giving me a little bit more versatility if I am going up the boards or have to move inside and open the lanes up. If you were old enough to throw the original Turbo X, then the new Turbo X is a must have in your bag!

Track Theorem Solid Bowling Ball

Theorem Solid is Just That Good!

Track bowling balls are known for having big asymmetrical cores in them, give any bowler a very strong and consistent roll through oil. The Theorem Solid completely hits the mark for bowlers looking for a bigger asymmetrical core bowling ball. In throwing this ball, it rolls similar to my Hammer Effect Tour with more backend motion for heavier oil conditions. The layout choice for the Theorem Solid is 60x4.5x30 to compliment my Brunswick Vaporize which goes a bit longer with more angularity off the spot. The Theorem Solid still gives me tremendous backend action but moves slightly earlier than my Vaporize. This ball is a great fit for all levels of bowling and adds a dynamic to any arsenal that you may not see in other equipment. The Track Theorem Solid is now available at your local pro shop!

Amazing Deal!

I have done this a few times and will do it again. I am really happy with the balls I have received Hammer Special Effect, Radical Torpedo Direct Hit, Columbia 300 Piranha PowerCOR Pearl, Brunswick Hypnotize and Criterion Hybrid (a new favorite). The balls are all in fantastic condition and look to have less than 10 games on the (labels are still on the ball and they are fully intact). The balls are drilled with Turbo Switch Grip interchangeable fingers and Ultimate Interchangeable Thumb. I wanted to try the balls before drilling them to my specs, so I purchased a set of Turbo fingers and and Ultimate Thumb. This was the biggest challenge, since the Ultimate thumbs are discontinued and hard to come by. Bowling World sells them, so I would suggest adding them to your first order. Fingers: https://bowlingworld.com/products/turbo-finger-switch-grip-inner-sleeve-empty Thumb: https://bowlingworld.com/products/ultimate-dual-color-thumb-slug?_pos=1&_psq=Ultimate+Thumb&_ss=e&_v=1.0

Very pleased

I did pay the extra $10 to provide some bowling data on myself. I am very happy with the bowling balls I received. They where in new condition for used bowling balls.

Above and beyond

The team went above and beyond what I was expecting to get in this deal. I have purchased a few mystery balls and I love the idea of getting great balls at a decent price.

198 first game out of the box for a 150 average bowler

My first game out of the box was a 198. I'm a 150 average bowler. I paired this with the Effect Tour and Hazmat Pearl for summer league and had an awesome experience. This one hits a lot harder than I expected for the price point. It's pretty versatile, too. I purchased a couple after a week of throwing it. Yep, it's just that good.

Follow-up from initial review

The Raptor Rush ended up being even better than I initially thought. It's predictable and very strong. It loves higher speeds if you have it. I'm only a 150 average bowler, but I recently threw a 220 with this ball and the Jackal EXJ. They play within the same area of the bag, but can also be paired well. I will probably end up buying at least one more.

220 for a 150 average bowler!

The Jackal EXJ has quickly become a staple in my arsenal. This one is extremely versatile and predictable. It hits very hard, too.
I'm a 150 average bowler, but this one has seen a minimum of 170s and a 220 already!
It works perfectly with the Jackal Onyx, Raptor Rush, and Pride Dynasty.
I wish I had purchased multiple of this one!

Good result based on personalized information i provided.

They listen and deliver!

This is my second go with the mystery box. The first ball I got was a Storm Revenant and even tho it didn’t match great with me it’s a great ball.
Second time I got a hazmat Pearl and boy does this thing slam.
100/10 stars.

Perfect addition to your tournament bag

I bought two of these. Light weight material for your shoes or accessories. Clips onto your existing loops on your bag. It’s also good for regular rollers too. You can just clip it to one of your existing eye loops on your bag.

Great Ball!

I am a rev dominate two handed bowler and this ball is great. It is easy to control. It is my go to ball when playing on my local house shot.

Recently used this option

I have used this option a few times and overall, I definitely recommend it if you don't want to just gamble.

I feel like giving an idea of what you might be looking to add to your ball arsenal is always good. They definitely listen and try to send you something that fits what you want. Based off the inventory they have available at the time.

I definitely plan to use this option in the future again. At times I do just gamble with whatever they send me mystery ball wise. But this option has worked well for me a few times. Including just recently. Thanks BW staff!

Latest Mystery ball subscription

I got my lastest subscription ball about two weeks ago. Ended up getting the Pink Bubblegum Vibe.

I actually like the ball a lot. Happy customer. The layout I put on it. I really love the reaction I'm getting with this ball. To be honest.. very likely ordering another MB asap.

As I want to put the same exact layout on a new ball. As this past week or so, throwing the vibe has me wanting a different ball with that layout on it.

Great balls at a great price

I have ordered several mystery balls from bowlingworld.com and have yet to be disappointed in any way shape or form. The balls have all been higher end balls that have worked well for me. My first mystery was the hitter from Radical and I shot 4-300 games 2-800 series that year with it.

Mystery Ball - Ethos Solid 14#

Order a 14 lbs ball my last ball i ordered was 13#, Never thought of getting the same ball with 2 different weights but Wow does these ball Complement one another

Smooth release

This product is like using bare skin to release your bowling ball. You don't even know you have it on your hand. Protection from injury and a good release of your bowling ball. Score well!!

Great shoes, great price! Everything is order from here comes fast, efficiently!Love it!

Love it!

Decent entry level ball, but there are better

This was my wife's first ball when we started bowling again after many years. Her very first ball back then was an Ebonite Playmaker. The Playmaker was considerably better. This one is smooth, but didn't bend much down the lane, and most of the hits were weak. It is a pretty ball though.

This one is a house shot killer

I haven't drilled mine yet,but I have seen so many of these in league and at State being played. The motion is smooth and controlled, similar to Urethane. But I would say that it's a bit smoother due to being reactive. Whether you use one hand or two, thumb or no thumb, this one just works. I've seen many honor scores out of these.

Now I get it...

I wasn't sure exactly why so many PBWA members as well as numerous content creators were raving about this ball until I finally got one for my wife. Even with her slow speed and low revs, this powerhouse rolls like she's some kind of semi-pro. It's almost like an IQ Tour Solid on steroids, and that's how she plays them, Summit Ascent first and then the IQ Tour Edition after. If you have low speed or low revs, no need to worry. Just pick a line and throw it, and watch those pins fall!

This Lion Roars!

Don't let the medium level position of this ball fool you. The Pride Dynasty is tough, and it roars when it smashes through the pins. With the same coverstock as the Black Venom, it's incredibly smooth and can easily be used as a benchmark ball.

The Goat

The Jackal Ghost has earned the title of a Goat ball with a 10+ year long running success. Very few balls make it past 6 months. Fewer past a year. The Jackal is strong. It cuts through the fronts, shapes through the mids, and pops in the back. This one is a beast for 8 or 9-pin taps, but just as good for chasing that 300. I took this one to a 9-pin tap last year and nearly pured all 13 throws, only missing 1 pin at the end of the last frame.

Better than expected!

After completely being burned by another company's blind box, I was hesitant to try any other blind box. I paid the extra $10 and it was worth it. I was looking for a strong symmetrical pearl and got the new Super Cuda! While I was hoping for something a bit stronger, there is really not a lot of strong symmetrical pearls on the market. I'm not mad at it at all and will definitely try it again. Maybe a true blind without the note next time. Thanks!

Great Bag

Very well made bag. Compact but has plenty of room for shoes and some gear. Great size for carry on. Very durable material, great color choices also. I own three of these bags. They are functional and hold up well.
