Personalized Selection is an optional $10 upcharge associated with the Bowling World Surprise and Experienced 2-Ball Surprise mystery bowling ball packages.

Personalized Selection ($10): Tell us a little bit about your bowling style, current arsenal, and what you look for in a new ball, and we'll send a ball that we feel would be beneficial to your game. Note: The personalized selection option does not guarantee any specific ball, ball type, or brand. It is simply a recommendation from one of our IPBSIA certified staff based on the information you provide and is still limited to our inventory on hand.

If you are looking for a recommendation for a new ball and don't want a gamble, reach out to us via chat. The Bowling World Surprise may not be for you.

**If an order is placed with the personalized selection, but not Surprise ball, we will refund this item as it only functions as an option upcharge to the Surprise balls.

The ball i recieved was a radical rattler bigbite .The total opposite of what I was hopeing for the cost of the personalization fee

Luck of the draw

I have ordered 2 mystery ball and one on the way. Stated the currently arsenal and what I was looking for. The balls I have received was not what I was looking BUT it they were the balls that I didn't know I needed. Because of the success of the balls I received, I ordered another which will be the final determination of whether or not I will be ordering more in the future. If at any point I don't receive the ball I can use, I could always sell it to fellow league bowlers for the price I bought it for.

Don't bother

If you're doing the random ball just go full random. They charge extra for personalization but ignore it. I wrote I wanted a ball for burnt second shift lanes and they sent me a urethane ball. Customer service told me the personalization doesn't matter as they go by their stock on hand. Just save yourself 10 bucks and go full random.
