Can I purchase a ball online and have it drilled before it is shipped to me?
We believe every Bowling World drilling should receive the same level of professional, personalized service, and we simply don't believe that can be done properly from written measurements or drilling specs alone.
When we drill a ball, we want our technician to work with you in person—measuring your hand, discussing your game and layout options, fitting and drilling the ball, and making any final adjustments based on your feedback. Those details allow us to provide a comfortable fit and a finished product that we're confident standing behind.
If you purchase a ball online, you can bring it to any Bowling World location for professional fitting and drilling.

Our basic drilling option features a custom hand fit and three holes drilled over the label for a comfortable, personalized fit.

Performance Drilling - $60
Our drilling option featuring a performance layout based on your PAP and any necessary oval and/or additional holes for a more precise fit and reaction.

Performance Plus - $70
Our complete setup, featuring the standard performance package, plus two finger inserts and one thumb insert for a precise, ready-to-bowl fit.

Drilling Insurance
Drilling insurance is included with all balls purchased and drilled at a Bowling World pro shop or online at www.bowlingworld.com. In the event of a manufacturing defect, drilling insurance will cover ball replacement and re-drilling
