It does ok on oil

I used to use this cleaner a lot. It does a good job cleaning the surface of the ball, but it doesn't remove scuff marks and heavier grime very well. There are much better options available. If you want something to do a quick clean at the alley before you go home to do a deeper one, then this one is ideal
