The Kinetic line has been a staple for Track for what seems like forever. Track fans want technology, reliability, and performance when they invest in a new product, and Kinetic balls always hit the mark. We are excited to introduce the new Kinetic Cobalt, a hybrid featuring the performance-enhancing HK22 base cover with the QR-7 additive package. This version of the Kinetic with the new cover is finished with a smooth 4000 finish to help maintain the Kinetic’s angular motion, but this version has more mid-lane traction and continuation through the backend.

The Ice Man
The Kinetic Cobalt is a great Hybrid ball that will be a great ball down to the Archetype.

Track does it again, by creating the Kinetic Cobalt Hybrid! I used a Dual Layout of 55 x 4 1/2 x 40. I bowl on PBA/Sport/House pattern League and tournaments. It's smooth in the fronts and continuos motion on the back end. Great ball to have in your line up when your Archetype or Solid starts loosing energy.

Great Kinetic Ball

The Track Kinetic Cobalt has a lot of shape, and is an excellent addition to the Kinetic line.



I feel like the Cobalt is different from the other Kinetics I’ve thrown because it is a hybrid cover (like the Kinetic Emerald), but does not come polished or with compound. The 500/1500/4000 surface does permit the ball to be pretty clean through the front of the lane – and I have also changed surface to 1500 to get it to pick up earlier in the mids, which can come in handy on fresh oil, if that’s your desire. The shape is classic Kinetic – strong flip off the mids through the back of the pin deck.



The Kinetic Cobalt is capable of being a very versatile ball for many situations. High recommendation for this one, and should be in my bag for a while.
